Palouse
Touted by National Geographic as the Paradise on Earth, Palouse county is really an amazing piece of lanscape! The wheat fields on rolling hills and contrasting red barns is a feast to nature loving eyes!
The lanscape unfolds its best colors and features in every season. As far as the colors go, March to early June, you can see Green and July to August Golden brown. Patterns change the landscape after the harvesting is done! If you visit Palouse, make sure you visit Step-Toe Butte near colfax. You can see an arial view of the landscape as well as the magic of light turing the landscape in to patterns if you get there early morning or late evening!
